　　Accidents often occur in our daily life. It is vital to know how to do first aid in some urgent situations.

　　One day two years ago, I was holding a bottle of boiled water, suddenly I dropped it and the hot water splashed on my wrist. Immediately my wrist became red and a little swollen. Then my mother asked me to put my hand under the cold running water. I followed her advice. After a while the pain was not as acute as before. Without my mother’s help, the pain would have been more serious.

　　Therefore knowing how to do first aid in some urgent situations can be very useful, and we are supposed to gain some knowledge about first aid.
