今天，一年一度的英語(yǔ)節(jié)在培德樓上的六樓報(bào)告大廳如火如荼的舉行了。
為了今天，我以前可是大下功夫，又是寫稿子，又是讓媽媽幫我認(rèn)識(shí)新單詞，又是自己背稿子，終于等到了今天。
我自信滿滿的走進(jìn)大廳。媽呀！嚇?biāo)牢伊�！這里居然聚集著這么多人。有五年級(jí)學(xué)生、老師、各年級(jí)的英語(yǔ)老師。嗯？還有兩個(gè)老外！看來(lái)，我今天得好好表現(xiàn)了，為自己、為班級(jí)而爭(zhēng)光。
比賽開(kāi)始了，我是28號(hào)，也就是最后一名，我感受到我的心就像一個(gè)調(diào)皮的小精靈一樣，跳得七上八下的——好緊張。該我了，我走上臺(tái)，感到腿有點(diǎn)發(fā)軟，好像馬上就要癱在地上了一樣；手有一點(diǎn)發(fā)顫，好像馬上就要把話筒掉在地上一樣。當(dāng)我看見(jiàn)兩位老外在默默地為我鼓掌時(shí)，我便又鼓起勇氣，繼續(xù)往下背。我的腿不再發(fā)軟了，我的'手也不再發(fā)顫了，我的精神又飽滿起來(lái)。
因?yàn)槲矣幸稽c(diǎn)拘謹(jǐn)，所以只得了二等獎(jiǎng)。我很失望，因?yàn)槲以瓉?lái)可以得到更高的分?jǐn)?shù)，但我依然很開(kāi)心，因?yàn)槲殷w驗(yàn)到了我以前從來(lái)沒(méi)有體驗(yàn)過(guò)的感受，還受到了一個(gè)使我一生受益的啟發(fā)：只要有付出，就一定有回報(bào)。

爸爸的.話一直在我的耳旁縈繞，是啊，為什么不好好檢查呢，我以后不管什么考試，一定好好檢查，不讓悲劇再次發(fā)生！
