雖然英語(yǔ)考試對(duì)于我來說，并不是一件很難的事，可以說是小菜一碟，但我也不能掉以輕心。開考了，我們?nèi)嗤瑢W(xué)都安靜地等待著監(jiān)考老師的到來。過了一會(huì)兒，監(jiān)考老師拿著試卷就來到了我們的'教室。我們安靜地等待著監(jiān)考老師發(fā)試卷。等試卷一到手，我就迫不及待地開始看聽力部分，因?yàn)槲遗聲r(shí)間不夠。我快速地寫完名字以后就等著播放聽力。監(jiān)考老師按下按鈕，磁帶就開始播放了錄音。我把兩只耳朵豎起來，認(rèn)真地聽著每一道題目，我每聽一題，就迅速地答題。很快，聽力部分就完成了。接著，我就做筆試部分了，開始的幾題還是比較順利的。不過，后來，我碰到了一個(gè)難題，我思考了好一會(huì)兒，終于想出來了。至于剩下的那部分我還是很順利地完成了。
做完后，我又認(rèn)真地檢查起來，檢查了幾遍，都沒有什么問題。我想，這張英語(yǔ)試卷應(yīng)該沒什么大的問題了。

應(yīng)用文是人們?nèi)粘Ｉ钪袕V泛使用的文體。它最突出的特點(diǎn)是它的實(shí)際應(yīng)用性，應(yīng)用文包括很廣，如書信、通知、日記、海報(bào)、便條、啟事、請(qǐng)柬、電報(bào)、合同等。應(yīng)用文的語(yǔ)言應(yīng)使用規(guī)范語(yǔ)言，重在實(shí)用，力求樸實(shí)、準(zhǔn)確、簡(jiǎn)潔。
書信我們分為兩部分：信封和內(nèi)容。
1、信封的寫法。
英語(yǔ)信封正面的左上角，寫發(fā)信人的姓名和地址。在信封的正面中央偏左一點(diǎn)，寫收信人的地址和姓名。
英語(yǔ)信封上的地點(diǎn)名稱由小到大，視其長(zhǎng)短可占二至五行不等。
寄信人只寫姓名，不寫頭銜。但是，收信人一般都在名字前加上頭銜，以示禮貌和尊敬。對(duì)于沒有官銜和學(xué)銜的人士，通常在姓名前寫上Mr., Mrs.,或Ms.。
信封的寫法，一般來說，很少出現(xiàn)在中考英語(yǔ)的.作文中。
2、內(nèi)容。
英文信一般可以分為下列幾個(gè)部分。
1)信端(Heading)即寫信人的地址和發(fā)信日期。
2)收信人姓名地址
3)稱呼
4)信的正文
5)結(jié)束語(yǔ)
6)簽名
有的時(shí)候，出題者會(huì)讓考生寫e-mail。e-mail的寫法和書信的寫法基本一致。只不過少了書信在信封上的繁瑣。
