前兩天，學(xué)校高年級(jí)舉行了英語(yǔ)演講比賽，我作為班上的代表之一，前去觀摩。
這次比賽無(wú)論是主持還是演講，都是全英文的。東看看，西看看，竟來(lái)了不少我認(rèn)識(shí)的人。學(xué)校的幾位老師來(lái)做評(píng)委，還有一位外教呢！
比賽開(kāi)始。首先，是兩位主持人一番簡(jiǎn)短的介紹，然后選手開(kāi)始挨個(gè)兒上臺(tái)。每個(gè)人都有一份課件，上面是演講內(nèi)容，選手要流暢地背出稿子，才能得高分。他們一口流利的英語(yǔ)，聽(tīng)得我云里霧里。我不由得感嘆道，這就是差距啊！不過(guò)根據(jù)課件上的英文，我還是認(rèn)出了一些單詞。
選手的情況也不同：有的一口英語(yǔ)說(shuō)得頭頭是道，聽(tīng)得人一愣一愣的；有的上了臺(tái)過(guò)于緊張，忘了詞，又下來(lái)整理整理思緒再上臺(tái)；也有的背得不錯(cuò)，卻出了一點(diǎn)小插曲的`……可謂是千姿百態(tài)。
選手們講的內(nèi)容各不相同：有的流暢地講了那些經(jīng)典的故事；有的介紹了自己喜歡的動(dòng)物或東西；還有的講了自己從一句話或者一件事中感悟的道理……內(nèi)容各不相同。
通過(guò)這次比賽，我深切地體會(huì)到了：人外有人，天外有天。我要更加努力地學(xué)習(xí)英語(yǔ)喲！
