attending schools abroad has many advantages. in the first place,by looking at our own country from outside,we can best see the strong points and weak points of our nation and therefore widen our vision and broaden our minds.
second,while studying in a foreign country,we can travel widely,visiting famous scenic spots and making friends with the local people. thirdly we can use the foreign language in our daily life so that our ability in the second language may be improved quickly.
but the most important thing in attending a foreign university is to get acquainted with the latest knowledge in science and technology and make use of the first-rate facilities available. for all these advantages,it is really worthwhile to go abroad for education.
however,as everything has two sides,there are also some disadvantages in attending.

我也打算逗她老人家一下:“是啊,老師教的。”“老師教你一大早念經(jīng)作啥呀?”我聽(tīng)了不禁暗暗一笑,說(shuō):“奶奶,這是英語(yǔ),跟語(yǔ)文數(shù)學(xué)一樣重要,學(xué)它是為了跟外國(guó)人交流,與世界接軌!薄吧叮客鈬(guó)人?哦!蹦棠趟贫嵌攸c(diǎn)了點(diǎn)頭。可想了一會(huì)兒,奶奶眉毛一挑,臉板了起來(lái),,一副嚴(yán)肅的樣子!澳棠淘趺戳?”我看奶奶這副模樣不禁有點(diǎn)擔(dān)心。奶奶說(shuō):“清清呀,這是不是日本人說(shuō)的話?如果是的話,你就算考零分我也不會(huì)責(zé)怪你的。”我聽(tīng)了,什么都明白了,原來(lái)奶奶有著強(qiáng)烈的愛(ài)國(guó)之情,于是便笑著說(shuō):“奶奶,這是英國(guó)人講的`語(yǔ)言,所以叫‘英語(yǔ)’。”“原來(lái)是這樣啊,能不能教我?guī)拙浒?先從最?jiǎn)單的開始,寶貝孫女!蹦棠痰哪樕徍土瞬簧,湊上來(lái)對(duì)我說(shuō)!班,那我就教你見(jiàn)面時(shí)打招呼的語(yǔ)言吧,跟我念‘hi,how are you?’!
結(jié)果奶奶根據(jù)他的音,來(lái)寫出漢字來(lái)了:“嗨,好啊有?”我倒。雖然有點(diǎn)“無(wú)賴”的味道,但奶奶好歹是學(xué)會(huì)了。這主要在于奶奶每天早上都扯著嗓子吼道:“嗨,好啊有?”震得你耳膜發(fā)癢。答句“fine,thank you”被奶奶說(shuō)成“反應(yīng),三克油”。這足可以讓每個(gè)教英語(yǔ)的老師有足夠的打擊。

我喜歡英語(yǔ)這門學(xué)科。最早接觸英語(yǔ)的時(shí)候是小學(xué)三年級(jí),當(dāng)時(shí)學(xué)校對(duì)這門新開設(shè)的功課雖然比較重視,但沒(méi)有安排單元檢測(cè),所以大家上英語(yǔ)課都比較散漫,整個(gè)課堂都鬧哄哄的,而且我們的老師水平似乎也不高。那個(gè)時(shí)候,我對(duì)英語(yǔ)并不感興趣。
直到五年級(jí),我們換了一個(gè)英語(yǔ)老師,這個(gè)新老師長(zhǎng)得很漂亮,英語(yǔ)說(shuō)得很好,我很喜歡她。剛開始,我是因?yàn)樗拿烂玻胱屗⒁馕,才在課堂上認(rèn)真聽(tīng)講的。后來(lái),我學(xué)進(jìn)去之后,才發(fā)現(xiàn)英語(yǔ)很有意思,也很“好學(xué)”,因此,我對(duì)英語(yǔ)產(chǎn)生來(lái)濃厚的興趣。
有一回,我在超市買東西,偶然地看到了一個(gè)外國(guó)人,因?yàn)樵谀侵拔覐奈纯吹竭^(guò)外國(guó)人,所以對(duì)她很好奇。金黃色的長(zhǎng)發(fā),棕色的眼睛,高挺的鼻子,簡(jiǎn)直是深深地迷住了我。我那時(shí)就一直看著她,當(dāng)然,我知道這樣是很不禮貌的`,可是我就是對(duì)她充滿了好奇心。我很想走過(guò)去和她說(shuō)幾句話,可是我又不敢。后來(lái),她好像注意到了我,對(duì)我笑了一笑。她這一笑簡(jiǎn)直是讓我欣喜若狂,在那一刻,我就下定決心一定要學(xué)好英語(yǔ),一定要能和外國(guó)人流利地交談。
從此我就經(jīng)常去找英語(yǔ)老師,向老師了解一些關(guān)于外國(guó)和英語(yǔ)有關(guān)的事。
現(xiàn)在初中了,我還是對(duì)英語(yǔ)有濃厚的興趣。黃老師很親切,每次看到她,就像是看到老熟人一樣。我很喜歡上她的課,有時(shí)我都巴不得一整天都上英語(yǔ)課。英語(yǔ)課很輕松,幾乎都是洋溢著笑聲的。黃老師還能說(shuō)一口流利的英文,可以完全聽(tīng)懂老外的話,也可以流利地和老外交流,這一點(diǎn),我特別羨慕黃老師。她是我的偶像,是我的榜樣,我要像她看齊(雖然她是我的老師)。
班上很多人覺(jué)得我上英語(yǔ)課和外教可很激動(dòng),確實(shí),我承認(rèn),但這也是我喜歡英語(yǔ)的一種方式。我對(duì)英語(yǔ)有一種莫名的喜歡,看到老外,我就像是吃了興奮一樣,就算原本不高興也會(huì)變得很高興。
上外教課時(shí),我會(huì)很認(rèn)真地聽(tīng)講,雖然有很多聽(tīng)不懂,老外抽問(wèn)時(shí),我也都會(huì)積極地舉手發(fā)言,哪怕是回答不了。我也不會(huì)覺(jué)得丟臉,因?yàn)槲艺酒饋?lái)回答問(wèn)題,也是給自己的一次鍛煉機(jī)會(huì),同時(shí)也和老外多接觸了一次,所以,哪怕是回答不了問(wèn)題,我也是很開心的。
這個(gè)暑假我去看了上海的世博會(huì),我在世博園里大開了眼界,里面有好多的外國(guó)人。每看到外國(guó)人我都會(huì)主動(dòng)上去邀請(qǐng)他們和我一起拍照。剛開始和老外交流時(shí),我有些害怕,怕自己說(shuō)不好英語(yǔ),但是那些熱情的外國(guó)人個(gè)給予了我勇氣,讓我敢于大聲發(fā)出邀請(qǐng),“Can you teke photos with me?”(你能和我一起拍照嗎?)當(dāng)然,在和外國(guó)人交涉的時(shí)候我也碰過(guò)壁,那是在地鐵站里,我看到一個(gè)外國(guó)人,我很開心地看來(lái)他一眼,可他卻皺著眉頭,用不標(biāo)準(zhǔn)的普通話說(shuō)“不要看我!边@句話讓當(dāng)時(shí)的我很是尷尬,因?yàn)槲覐奈磁龅竭^(guò)這種狀況,這次的事,讓我注意起對(duì)待老外的應(yīng)有禮節(jié),但這并不影響我對(duì)英語(yǔ)的熱愛(ài)。

我一直自認(rèn)為自己的教書能力還是可以的,看到外婆那求學(xué)的心,實(shí)在少有,就爽快地收她為徒了。
我把草稿本拿出來(lái)放在桌子上,讓外婆坐在桌邊。我在本子上寫了字母A的大小寫后,讓外婆拿著鉛筆也照著寫。外婆目不轉(zhuǎn)睛地盯著我寫字母的筆順,眼珠隨著我的筆尖轉(zhuǎn)動(dòng)。
我呢,邊寫邊教她記的方法,比如:寫J時(shí)想到雨傘桿,a的小尾巴不要太長(zhǎng)……教發(fā)音時(shí),我讓外婆看著我的嘴巴,看著我的'嘴形。外婆認(rèn)真地看,我只教了幾遍,她就發(fā)得很好,令我驚嘆。然后我給她一個(gè)單詞本,教她字母在五線格里的位置,外婆一筆一畫認(rèn)真地學(xué)寫。
在我這個(gè)“名師”的悉心指導(dǎo)下,外婆的進(jìn)步可謂一日千里了,讀寫都過(guò)關(guān)了。不是我教得好,而是外婆有那可貴的求學(xué)之心!

Its Time to Stop Software Piracy
China has often been criticized for the rampant practice of software piracy. Take a look around. We operate on pirated Windows systems, defend PC security with pirated Kaspersky anti-virus programmes, process files with pirated Microsoft Office, draft 3D designs with pirated AutoCAD, refine pictures with pirated Adobe Photoshop, and study English with pirated Kingsofts electronic dictionaries and translators. Its no exaggeration that pirated software is everywhere.
The logic behind the phenomenon is simple and clear: if a pirated copy is available for just a tiny fraction of the normal price, not to speak of many of the free downloads online, who would pay for an authentic copy? Cheaper prices aside, easy access is another important factor. With such a large gathering of pirated upgrades around, who would bother to spend time and money searching the stores for an authorized yet outdated version?
Despite these apparent benefits, the practice of software piracy should be banned, because it represents unfair competition and by nature its a no-win situation. But how? Two approaches are to be taken at the same time: Technically, software developers should enhance their antipiracy engineering, so that cracking the software should be virtually impossible. And legally, the government should also tighten its antipiracy laws and toughen up the penalties, so that violations should be costly.
