bicycle riding has many advantages. it is the least epensive way of traveling apart from walking. if you travel by bicycle, you dont have to buy gas as you must when you drive cars. besides, it develops much less mechanical troubles than a car.
bicycle riding is especially good for health. it is good eercise. if you go to work by riding a bicycle instead of driving or taking a bus, you can have a better chance of getting enough eercise you need everyday. bicycling is also good for our environment. it is less noisy and does not pollute the air. i am glad to have ridden a bicycle to school when i studied in the high school.

They said it is not safe for the junior students to get to school by electric bicycles, for they are too young. Besides, there are too much electric bicycles in the street now, they can get hurt easily.

其實(shí)，爸爸讀書時(shí)英語(yǔ)也不怎么好，但為了給我補(bǔ)起來(lái)，，他買了英語(yǔ)磁帶、英語(yǔ)詞典，先自己學(xué)，然后給我教。首先，從最基本的英文字母a、b、c、d……開(kāi)始，爸爸讀一個(gè)，我跟著讀一個(gè)，開(kāi)始我覺(jué)得很難學(xué)的，特別是“i”“r”這兩個(gè)字母怎么也讀不準(zhǔn)、分不清。后來(lái)，爸爸給我教了個(gè)辦法，小樹(shù)發(fā)芽是r，這樣我一下就分清了這兩個(gè)字母的讀音，等我會(huì)讀這些字母時(shí)，開(kāi)始教我怎樣在英語(yǔ)本上寫，學(xué)會(huì)這些才教我學(xué)習(xí)單詞，爸爸把單詞歸了類。先教我1-10這十個(gè)數(shù)字的讀寫，再教星期的讀寫……學(xué)單詞可比學(xué)字母又難多了，一個(gè)單詞讀上三五次也讀不準(zhǔn)，但我們不放棄，反反復(fù)復(fù)的讀，直到讀會(huì)為止，讀會(huì)再教我背下這個(gè)單詞，爸爸要求我每天記兩個(gè)單詞。一有時(shí)間還要聽(tīng)聽(tīng)英語(yǔ)磁帶。

suppose you set your mind to work on the problem of how you would use your own eyes if you had three more days to see. if with the oncoming darkness of the third night you knew that the sun would never rise for you again, how would you spend those three precious intervening days? what would you most want to let your gaze rest upon?
i, naturally, should want most to see the things which have become dear to me through my years of darkness. you, too, would want to let your eyes rest long on the things that have become dear to you so that you could take the memory of them with you in the night that loomed before you.
i should want to see the people whose kindness and gentleness and companionship have made my life worth living. first i should like to gaze long upon the face of my teacher, mrs. anne sullivan macy, who came to me when i was a child and opened the outer world to me. i should want not merely the outline of her face, so that i could cherish it in my memory, but to study that face and find in it the living evidence of the sympathetic tenderness and patience with which she accomplished the difficult task of my education. i should like to see in her eyes that strength of character which has enabled her to stand firm in the face of difficulties, and that compassion for all humanity which she has revealed to me so often.
oh, the things that i should see if i had the power of sight for just three days!
