after school, a thing coming as a surprise happened on me on my way back home. when i was riding suddenly a crowed of people rushed out to stopped my bike.i recogized them at once. they were my senior classmates. they all comlained to me,“why don't you tell us about your birthday? don't you fear that we will let you stand treat? this time you owe us.” then each of them gave a gift and a card with best wishes to me. i was deeply moved again. i suggested having a dinner together. but they all refused because of the time. then they left me saying we would ask you to pay us another day!
when i got back home, i thought of everyth hing happened today. suddenly i felt so happy because i had such great friends around me. i thanked them from the bottom of my heart. i would value the precious friendship forever!

First of all, the Internet has brought people great convenience in getting information, entertainment and contact with each other. As for our students, it is a useful tool when we meet problems. When we are tired, a piece of light music will help us relax. If we have free time, we can enjoy movies or interesting cartoons. What’s more, we can also watch live programs on the internet or see it later if we are not available at that time.
But there is also bad influence. Some of the young teenagers are addicted to computer games, and some even play games all night. Because of lacking in sleep, those students can not focus on in the class . As a result, they may fail in the exam. When they realize it is wrong to spend too much time playing games, it’s already too late.
I have remembered such a piece of news . An excellent student flunked (考試不及格) because he could not concentrate on his study for being too indulged in computer games. He spent nearly all the money on games, which was earned by his father's selling blood. When his father knelt down to beg him to return to school, he was too numb to show any regret.
The most serious harm of computer games come from their contents, which affects teenagers ' mental health. Many games involve violence, such as fighting and killing. When they enjoy the pleasure of success, a violent turn of mind is developed and rooted in them, which may induce future violent behaviour in their life.
So when computers' entertaining function is highly spoken of ,such a problem does deserve our serious concern.
In addition, long time's working before computer also does harm to health. The radiation from the computer can arose many uncomfortable feelings., like a headache, poor eyesight.
At last, people who are fond of making friends on line should also be careful. Many convicts use Internet as a way to cheat. Although it has many disadvantages , Internet has become an indispensable part of people's life in recent years. 英語(yǔ)短文閱讀的重要性不僅表現(xiàn)在高中英語(yǔ)考試中它的份量最大，而且還表現(xiàn)在英語(yǔ)短文是英語(yǔ)詞匯知識(shí)和語(yǔ)法知識(shí)的載體方面。詞匯量的擴(kuò)大、詞匯知識(shí)的豐富和句子表達(dá)的多樣性光靠死記硬背是無(wú)法也不可能實(shí)現(xiàn)的。擴(kuò)大詞匯量、豐富自己的詞匯知識(shí)和地道完美的表達(dá)自己只有依靠?jī)?yōu)良的閱讀習(xí)慣。教材課文是精讀材料，需要同學(xué)們讀熟讀透，直至能開(kāi)口娓娓道來(lái)為止。課外閱讀又叫泛讀。高中英語(yǔ)新課標(biāo)教材對(duì)高中前八個(gè)模塊的學(xué)習(xí)有一個(gè)要求：課外閱讀要完成30萬(wàn)單詞的閱讀量。也就是說(shuō)：同學(xué)們需要每天有500到700個(gè)單詞量的閱讀。課外閱讀也是運(yùn)用語(yǔ)言的一種必不可少的形式。課外閱讀不能停留在完成幾道閱讀理解試題或者完形填空試題。關(guān)鍵在盡量弄懂文章中的每一句話含義、長(zhǎng)難句的結(jié)構(gòu)。留意你還不很熟悉的詞匯、詞匯知識(shí)和語(yǔ)法知識(shí)。還要去認(rèn)真體會(huì)不同的英語(yǔ)句子在表達(dá)上的精確性。千萬(wàn)不要在一些你還不認(rèn)識(shí)的，拼寫(xiě)怪誕，發(fā)音困難的生僻詞匯上浪費(fèi)時(shí)間和精力。
閱讀能力，除詞匯量大小以外，還包含閱讀速度、長(zhǎng)難句理解、和把握主題大意的能力。要會(huì)快速閱讀，同學(xué)們必須學(xué)會(huì)一些閱讀的技能：如：skimming(跳讀)、scanning(掃讀)和digesting(研讀)。Skimming和scanning就是根據(jù)閱讀任務(wù)在文中查找相關(guān)信息。Digesting主要是用來(lái)理解長(zhǎng)難句、把握主題大意和作者意圖以及猜測(cè)詞義的技術(shù)。不僅要研讀長(zhǎng)難句結(jié)構(gòu)，也還需要研讀邏輯關(guān)系。
流暢的短文表達(dá)能力在很大程度上依賴于你的詞匯量、詞匯知識(shí)和句法知識(shí)。它們的積累在于平時(shí)的聽(tīng)、說(shuō)和讀的活動(dòng)。寫(xiě)作表達(dá)能力中，你的英語(yǔ)句式的結(jié)構(gòu)思維能力或者英語(yǔ)習(xí)慣思維能力會(huì)對(duì)表達(dá)能力有重要影響。這就需要同學(xué)們平時(shí)養(yǎng)成一個(gè)良好習(xí)慣：那就是總是試圖用英語(yǔ)來(lái)表達(dá)出你眼睛所看到的`，耳朵能聽(tīng)到的，身體能感受到的和你思想能想到的。除此之外，一篇優(yōu)秀的短文還少不了三個(gè)要素：即結(jié)構(gòu)，內(nèi)容和語(yǔ)言。

語(yǔ)言要盡可能是地道的，去漢語(yǔ)化的英語(yǔ)。要經(jīng)常套用自己在閱讀中、在課堂上學(xué)來(lái)句子結(jié)構(gòu)去表達(dá)自己。要敢于嘗試用比較復(fù)雜的句子結(jié)構(gòu)和比較高級(jí)的詞匯來(lái)使文章進(jìn)一步美化。
聽(tīng)所讀寫(xiě)四大技能并不是各自孤立的，也是相互作用和相互制約的。如果平時(shí)，只注重某一項(xiàng)技能的學(xué)習(xí)和訓(xùn)練，那是不可能成為一位真正的英語(yǔ)強(qiáng)手的。
任何一門學(xué)科都需要踏實(shí)的學(xué)習(xí)作風(fēng)。外語(yǔ)也不例外。學(xué)外語(yǔ)的實(shí)主要表現(xiàn)在以下幾個(gè)方面：
一、落實(shí)詞匯、詞匯知識(shí)和特殊句式的積累。落實(shí)詞匯和詞匯知識(shí)并不是反復(fù)背記詞匯表中的單詞。落實(shí)詞匯、詞匯知識(shí)以及特殊句式的最好辦法是先探究后運(yùn)用。一個(gè)詞匯在經(jīng)過(guò)七到八次在不同時(shí)間和不同的語(yǔ)境中運(yùn)用后，它就是你的了。詞匯知識(shí)和特殊句式也是一樣。寫(xiě)作是運(yùn)用，造句是運(yùn)用，閱讀，傾聽(tīng)和與他人用英語(yǔ)交流也是運(yùn)用。借助詞典進(jìn)行造句練習(xí)，在造句中運(yùn)用新學(xué)的詞匯不失為一種行之有效的簡(jiǎn)單易行的方式。
二、落實(shí)課外閱讀。每天堅(jiān)持花半小時(shí)閱讀一兩篇短文。一要真正讀懂。二要留意詞匯運(yùn)用。
三、落實(shí)早自習(xí)精讀。每次有硬指標(biāo)，死任務(wù)。
四、落實(shí)課內(nèi)課外書(shū)面作業(yè)。簡(jiǎn)單的完成老師布置的作業(yè)量并不是落實(shí)。書(shū)面作業(yè)質(zhì)的落實(shí)必須是在真正懂了、記住了的基礎(chǔ)上又快又好的獨(dú)立的、閉卷式的完成書(shū)面作業(yè)。對(duì)發(fā)現(xiàn)的漏洞和缺陷要采取補(bǔ)救措施。
五、落實(shí)自主探究的學(xué)習(xí)能力培養(yǎng)。學(xué)習(xí)中缺乏自主探究，不善于利用團(tuán)隊(duì)合作和與老師溝通是很多高中生在學(xué)習(xí)中存在的一種普遍想象。老師不是保姆，老師不可能把英語(yǔ)的詞匯知識(shí)和英語(yǔ)的四大能力烹制成一道道佳肴后，一口一口地喂進(jìn)學(xué)生的口中。老師的探究代替不了學(xué)生的探究。學(xué)習(xí)能力的培養(yǎng)主要是探究能力的培養(yǎng)。學(xué)會(huì)了探究，你才會(huì)在知識(shí)的大海中暢游。學(xué)會(huì)了探究，你才會(huì)成為終身學(xué)習(xí)者。英語(yǔ)學(xué)科的探究應(yīng)該表現(xiàn)在對(duì)某一特定詞匯在文中、在句中的用法和含義的探究，對(duì)長(zhǎng)難句結(jié)構(gòu)和含義的探究，對(duì)相關(guān)知識(shí)關(guān)聯(lián)的探究，對(duì)作者意圖、主題大意的探究，當(dāng)然也包含對(duì)學(xué)法的探究。要探究知識(shí)，要有工具（詞典以及各種手冊(cè)等）的幫助，更要有團(tuán)隊(duì)的合作，還要有老師的幫助。團(tuán)隊(duì)合作可以讓你取他人之長(zhǎng)補(bǔ)自己之短，還可以集思廣益，產(chǎn)生思想火花。常與老師溝通是可以使你更容易發(fā)現(xiàn)前進(jìn)的方向，少走彎路。
